Hotel Am Schloss, Heidelberg

I absolutely loved the breakfast at Hotel Am Schloss! There was a fresh and 'deelish' selection of food, and the atmosphere in the breakfast room was so pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the coffee made to order, which really added a personal touch to my morning. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

I was pleasantly surprised with the parking facilities at Hotel Am Schloss. Even though it's located above a multi-storey garage, I found the discounted parking rate of 10 euros for a night to be very reasonable. The direct lift access from the parking area to the hotel made my arrival and departure so smooth, which is always appreciated during travels.

My room was wonderfully spacious and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. I was thrilled to discover that my room had a lovely balcony that provided a direct view of the stunning Heidelberg Castle. It felt great to enjoy my evening while gazing at that beautiful sight.

While staying at the hotel, I appreciated the family-friendly setup, especially in the larger family room where my relatives stayed. They had a hide-away kitchenette that included various appliances such as a fridge and an electric stove, which made it convenient for preparing snacks for my kids. It really felt like a home away from home.
